This is a fun filled program based around arts and crafts, thus allowing youth to explore their creativity. The children work on a project each week such as Halloween masks, Christmas ornaments and giant Yahtzee.
Cool Moves
Cool Moves has two distinct parts. Children are taught how to Eat Smart by learning about the kinds of foods which make up a healthy diet. They also learn how to Play Cool by incorporating physical activity into their daily lives.
Homework Buddies
The Homework Program provides a rich learning environment to complete homework, receive help, and participate in fun, educational activities.
Kids Caught Caring
The Kids Caught Caring program recognizes kindness and generosity in our youth. The youth caught caring is recognized for their good deed by entering their name for monthly prizes.
Kids in the Kitchen
This is an interactive nutritional program in which our youth have an opportunity to prepare their own snacks such as, fruit smoothies & turkey wraps.
Science Squad
The children explore the world of science through fun and exciting experiments. They learn the basics of physics and chemistry and they have participated in the Actua Science Camp and the Supernova Science Camp.
After School Programs:
The Gander Boys and Girls Club offers a wide variety of after school activities to its youth. Our programs cover such topics as education, the arts, nutrition, crafts and recreation.

Power Up!
An academic program aimed at helping children to set and achieve their own learning goals. It includes games, activities, tutoring and Homework Buddies.
Summer Program:
The Gander Boys and Girls Club offers a well-rounded, fun-filled Summer Day Camp program for boys and girls aged 5-18. Our main objective is to not only provide a safe, fun, and exciting environment for kids of all ages, but to allow them to explore different worlds such as science, physical activity, creativity, etc. Some of the activities we offer are:
